Lisbon

Took some pics when I was in Lisbon this weekend with some friends. I had a very important business meeting and I can´t wait to know the final answer and decide my new future. It´s hard to go out from our comfort zone, but sometimes can be the best decision someone can do. I´m wearing a very casual look, easy to walk around town. Enjoy it :) x

Love sucks

Because in some ways, being in love with someone is a very selfish kind of love. It demands something of them, doesn´t it? It requires some sort of reciprocation, a kind of emotional contract. You tell someone you´re in love with them, and you expect something in return. And if the feeling is not matched, then you have a problem. Because you still have this expectation, this hole to be filled, and you´re convinced that the other person is the only one who can fill it. But they are telling you that they can´t, that they are not even going to try, but you still have this hole inside you, this place you have made to hold another person, and you can´t just make it go away..So you end up hating this person you´re in love with, because you need them in order to be whole, and their saying no feels like they´re ripping out that piece of you. Every time you think of them, it´s like they´re ripping it out over and over and over.

Right now

There are times when the actual experience of leaving something makes you wish desperately that you could stay, and then there are times when the leaving reminds you a hundred times over why exactly you had to leave in the first place..

Strangers

We are all strangers in a strange land, longing for home, but not quite knowing what or where home is. We glimpse it sometimes in our dreams, or as we turn a corner, and suddenly there is a strange, sweet familiarity that vanishes almost as soon as it comes.

I´m quite busy these few days. I don´t know what´s happening with me but sometimes I feel like I should not blog anymore. I lost this passion about the blogger world..there are too many bloggers writing about the same stuff and shooting the same pictures. Since the beginning I tried to stay true to myself and maybe that´s why I´m still here. I really like to talk about my love life, about my personal issues and much more. This is not a fashion blog, this is a very personal space where I write about (mainly) life.
